A message from Megan A. Lorenz, MS, Assistant Teaching Professor of Business and Business Program Coordinator at Penn State York
Hello Everyone!
I wanted to share an update on the outcomes from the FBLA State Leadership Conference. Our students had a very strong showing, with 42 state‑level wins (a record high) and 28 national qualifiers across a wide range of competitive events.
I wanted to share a quick update on the outcomes from the State Leadership Conference. In addition to our students’ strong individual performances, we also received the Gold Seal Chapter Award from the state. This recognition positions us to be nationally ranked this year and speaks to the overall strength and consistency of our chapter.
I also want to highlight that Domenic Sciortino was selected for the Who’s Who in FBLA state award. He will walk the stage at Nationals as the top FBLA student in Pennsylvania, which is an incredible honor and a proud moment for our campus.
These results reflect not only the students’ hard work and commitment, but also the strength of the FBLA program in developing leadership, professionalism, and career readiness. The breadth of events represented highlights the well‑rounded nature of the program and the confidence our students bring to competitive academic environments.
I wanted to be sure you were aware of these positive outcomes, and as always, thank you for your continued support of FBLA at Penn State York.
Best,
Megan A. Lorenz, MS
