A message from Megan A. Lorenz, MS, Assistant Teaching Professor of Business and Business Program Coordinator at Penn State York
Greetings,
I’m excited to share some incredible news from this year’s FBLA National Leadership Conference! Our students represented Penn State York with excellence and determination—and their hard work paid off in a big way.
We are proud to announce:
With these accomplishments, Penn State York now boasts 86 national awards in just seven years—a remarkable milestone that reflects the strength and spirit of our campus community.
This year’s celebration didn’t end in Dallas. When we returned to campus, we were welcomed with an incredible celebration that truly captured the excitement and pride of our community. A special thank you to Beth for coordinating the return-to-campus welcome—it was such a meaningful way to recognize our students’ achievements. The energy and support from everyone who came out to cheer them on made the moment even more special. We’re also grateful to Jeff and Scott for providing transportation from the airport. Your help ensured our students returned safely even if the luggage situation was a large game of JENGA!
The way our campus community came together to celebrate these accomplishments and uplift our students speaks volumes. It’s this kind of unity and encouragement that makes our students stronger, more confident, and more prepared to lead.
I’d also like to express my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to our mock competition day and supported our students throughout their journey. From our dedicated judges to the supportive staff and faculty, the library team, and our incredible OLLI members—your time, insights, and encouragement were instrumental in preparing our students for the national stage. Your involvement made a meaningful impact, and I am truly grateful for your continued dedication to their success.
Thank you once again for being part of this journey. Your involvement helps shape the future of our students—and this year’s results are proof of that impact.
